In the internal squash league that has just finished the top man was Ashley Merchant with 16 points in the Premier Box, followed by David Jones with 12 and Harry Prescott and Michael Royce both with 11.
The top females were the young Goel sisters, Nikita with 16 points in Box 6 and Maya with 18 points in Box 9.

If you are a participant please note that a new squash league is now on the online booking website.
There were a 18 people coming in this time, 15 dropping out, so 196 participants spread over 33 boxes.
This league lasts about 7 weeks until the 16th November.
I am pleased to announce that this is my 300th and final league, my first being in 1986! After 39 years I shall be handing over League Organiser duties to enthusiastic youngster John Gillman, j.gillman.jg@gmail.com, who will be in charge of the next league in November. Please make John welcome.
As ever, please respond promptly to any email from an opponent trying to arrange a game.

As you should know by now the league is only online. I will eventually put a summary up at the club but all results must be added to the online league. The points system for results is detailed there.
All contact details can be found on the online booking site. Click on a name and then the email address and a blank email is opened for you to arrange games. Remember to put in your opponent's name when you book a court and they will get a reminder on the day, both to turn up and to pay you towards the court fee.
Please note that all participants in the Squash League are required to make both their email and mobile phone number available to other members on the online booking site. Please don't opt out of emails!
Players in the top half of the league should play best of 5 with PAR (point a rally) to 11, two clear points at deuce, rather than best of 5 with HiHo (hand in hand out) to 9. Do this by mutual agreement, with the default being HiHo. This is to help team players practise the system used in matches.
I suggest that matches throughout the league could use PAR, again by mutual agreement, if games are thought hard to finish in 45 minutes, with the default being HiHo to 9 as now.
