DSC A thank you to members

Dear Squash Members

I must thank all those who contributed to my so very generous presents to mark the occasion of my giving up producing the squash leagues after 39 years, culminating in my 300th league with an unprecedented 200 participants.

I was so grateful to receive some excellent wine from the Wine Society, an Exhibition Margaux and Exhibition Saint Emilion, a bit of a leg up from my usual tipple after another evening on the leagues. To be savoured…

Also a substantial set of vouchers for both the Wigmore Hall and Royal Albert Hall to give me something to occupy myself in a squash free 2026.

I was happy to be squash president and membership secretary and league organiser for many, many years but have now been successfully replaced by Nikhil, Rupert & John respectively.

Good luck to them and the rest of the squash committee, and good luck to all you squash enthusiasts!
