With Christmas and the New Year just around the corner, please note the announcements and messages below:
Sunday Club Nights run as usual
There will be sessions from 5:45pm, as usual , on 21st and 28th December 2025 and 4th January 2026.
Friday Squash and Racketball Club Night
The final “Friday Squash and Racketball Club Night” of 2025 will be this evening from 6:30pm. BONUS: The S&R Club Night on 19th December will be FREE! 2026 sessions start again on Friday 9th January.
Christmas opening times for Main Pavilion, Bar and Lower Pavilion
You can enjoy your sport all over the Christmas period - but be aware that the bar and pavilions have different opening times:
Bar Opening times:
24th, 25th, 26th CLOSED
27th - 30th - usual opening hours
The Upper Pavilion Clubhouse will be open as usual EXCEPT:
24th, 25th & 26th December – closed and locked all day
31st December New Years Eve - closed from 3pm
Lower Pavilion always open:
Our members can have games throughout the festive season. The Lower Pavilion it will be open as usual over the Christmas and New Year period - Lower Pavillion entry code is 5 2 3 4
New Year's Day Free Squash
Courts booked from 11:00am and FREE for members to use!
New Year's Day Lunch
The social life of the club continues, and to bring in the new year we are welcoming the return of New Year's Day Sausage & Mash lunch . Whether you are playing sport that day, or just in need of a warming, curing lunch, come along - just £8. New Year’s Bar opening times
New Year’s eve : OPEN Mid-day to 3pm. New Year’s day : OPEN Mid-day to 6pm – with our traditional New Year's Day lunch - see details above.
Saturday Training restart date
Ladies Mix-In and Adult Group Training sessions will resume on Saturday 10th January 2026 - 09:30am and 11:15am respectively. Please contact James Browndon to verify your attendance.
Squash League ending
The current league ends Sunday 11th January, so please get your games in by that date
Winter Handicap tournament
This will start on Monday 19th January with finals to be held on Saturday 21st February – look out for the announcement for signing up!
