DSC Squash League beginning Monday 16th Mar 2026 - ending Sunday 10th May 2026

Dear Squash Member,

If you are a participant in the current Squash League please note that it is due to end on Sunday 16th March. I am away on Monday 17th March so you have a chance to submit late results that day as I will start to produce the new league on the Tuesday.

The next league will last 8 weeks until Sunday 10th May 2026 in order to avoid the Bank Holiday weekend. Please make sure your results are submitted on the league within the online booking site. And please note, positions next time are broadly determined by the number of points gained.

At the moment I have the following 14 members to add to the next league, although some of these members may still be injured and not ready to rejoin, please let me know if so:-

  1. Josh Allan - - 8
  2. Callum Millard - - 9
  3. Joshua Stamp - - 10
  4. Mark Robson - - 11
  5. Jerry Stevens - - 12
  6. Edmund Moss - - 15
  7. Dennis Coppens - - 17
  8. Gary Sheppard - - 18
  9. Andrew Sims - - 18
  10. Andrew Stokes - - 18
  11. Jeremy Chantry - - 23
  12. Adam Harvey - - 24
  13. Tristan Stephens-Jones - - 30
  14. Antonia Valencia - - 33

Anyone else? Please let me know in good time and say which box you would prefer. I understand from Nikhil that there could be several keen new members who might wish to join the league so the above list might grow considerably.

I also have the following 7 members to leave out:-

  1. Chris Jones - - 2
  2. Alice Greswold - - 7
  3. Thomas White - - 22
  4. Benjamin Beasley-Murray - - 25
  5. Luke Brennan - - 25
  6. Kerim Tasangil - - 28
  7. Andy James - - 31

Again, please let me know in good time if you wish to withdraw from the league.

This time around neither Nikhil nor I will be contacting members who have recorded no results so far. It is down to individuals to contact Nikhil or me to tell us that you wish to remain in the league despite playing no matches. If you have still played no games by the time I come to produce the next league and we have not heard from you it is likely that I will leave you out next time.

And please, if you are contacted for a game do respond promptly, even if it is to say you can’t play as injured or away. It is most frustrating if someone repeatedly emails an opponent for a game and gets no response.

Kind regards,

John
